My idea for Steve Job's space was inspired by Russell's week 11 lecture 'The Bridge'. The notion is based on compressional and tensional forces, and carries on in my experiment. Job's is new age, technologically advanced, reaching for the future. His space yearns to break free - yet he needs the tensional forces that use the mass of the meeting space and Yin's office as an equal balance. That is, new still requires old to progress - old ideas, designs, innovations - and thus the entire space is dependent on itself to balance.
